I'm a Boston-based writer with 15+ years of copywriting experience across industries including travel, tech, and fashion. I’ve also written for The Atlantic, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, New York Magazine, Fodor’s, xoJane, HelloGiggles, The Outline, The Belladonna Comedy, and various other outlets and publications. My essays appear in the books Madonna & Me and Popular: The Ups and Downs of Online Dating from the Most Popular Girl in New York City. My first book, 111 Places in Boston That You Must Not Miss, was published in spring of 2021, and is currently on its third edition. Whether I'm writing copy for a promotional email, musing about life on my Substack, or describing a destination for curious travelers, I'm always looking for magic in the mundane, seeking ways to make sentences sparkle, and adding a touch of humor to the humdrum.
My favorite things —aside from the clichés of coffee and travel—are live music (especially garage rock), vintage clothing and antiques, hip-hop dance, ‘90s pop culture/nostalgia, crossword puzzles, baking, street photography, historic homes (especially bungalows), bourbon cocktails, American Eskimo dogs, the kitchens in Nancy Meyers movies, watching skateboarding, wandering around Boston, and chocolate-covered gummy bears. I currently live in a big 1915 house with my big orange cat, Marv, and approximately 40 houseplants.
